at Basie’s in 2002 and are now the longest running Jazz Night in Fargo-Moorhead’s history! Come celebrate anniversaries, birthday's, office parties, romantic dates, ladies night out or a holiday party! Come for dinner, dessert or beverages with friends! What ever the occasion we are certain that you will be entertained and have a great dining experience! Some Thursdays you might find other wonderful area jazz musicians performing in Basie’s too so call for reservations and ask who’s is performing! See you there! |

Jazz night at Basie’s is always the joyous highlight of our week. We love the relaxed atmosphere, the variety of jazz classics and styles played by these highly accomplished musicians, the cordial atmosphere that Kathie Brekke creates with her vocals and witty repartee with the audience, and the warm camaraderie amongst friends and other jazz lovers. Another delightful feature of most evenings is the opportunity to hear other musicians from the area invited up by Kathie to join the group for a song or two. We can’t imagine a better way to spend a couple of hours than with such folks and such blissful music. Gary and Marilyn Litt |
